CR Power’s First Domestic Offshore Wind Power Project Approved

According to the newspaper, CR Power Cangnan 1# offshore wind power project has recently been approved, becoming its first domestic project of this kind that has been approved.

The project is located in the sea area to the east of Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province, with a total installed capacity of 400MW. A 220KV offshore booster station and an onshore centralized control center will be built with a total investment of RMB 7.14 billion. After the completion of the project, the annual on-grid electricity will be about 1.2 billion kilowatt hours, which can save about 390,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide, bringing remarkable comprehensive economic and environmental benefits.

The approval of the project marks a breakthrough by CR Power Southeast China Region in the field of clean energy, getting CR Power off the ground in the development of offshore wind power.
