Fuchuan actively coordinated with China Resources Group in investing RMB10 billion in Fuchuan to establish Hezhou CR recycling economy industrial park with CR Hezhou Power Plant as leading enterprise. At present, CR Hezhou Power Plant has cumulatively created industrial output value of about RMB20 billion and paid taxes of nearly RMB1 billion, with the output value and taxes accounting for over 50% of Fuchuan.
In recent years, in consideration of excess power generation capacity of Guangxi and peak power gap of Guangdong, CR Hezhou Power Plant has effectively promoted Guangdong and Guangxi to reach a consensus about the "power transmission from Hezhou to Guangdong", building a successful demonstration of Guangdong-Guangxi poverty alleviation coordination. The project of "power transmission from Hezhou to Guangdong" means that during 2019-2020, CR Hezhou Power Plant will transmit 3 billion KWH of power to Guangdong each year, increasing industrial output value of about RMB1.09 billion/year and taxes of about RMB48 million/year. At present, CR Hezhou Power Plant has transmitted 2.54 billion KWH of power to Guangdong, increasing the industrial output value of RMB920 million and taxes of RMB40.45 million and helping Fuchuan with poverty alleviation as scheduled.
The project of "power transmission from Hezhou to Guangdong", as the first project of power transmission from a poverty-stricken region to a developed region in China, has explored an effective mode of power poverty alleviation, realized the external transmission of surplus power of a poverty-stricken region, assisted Fuchuan in industrial poverty alleviation by consumption poverty alleviation, and become the largest consumption poverty alleviation project in Guangxi, propelling the economic and social development in Guangdong and Guangxi. Meanwhile, the project has effectively inspired the endogenous economic development impetus of Fuchuan, and promoted places to raise more capital for poverty alleviation, the cause of people's livelihood and consolidate poverty alleviation effects.
