In recent days, the COVID-19 pandemic in Hong Kong remains grave and complicated. As a red enterprise rooted in Hong Kong for more than 80 years, CR Power, a Hong Kong-listed company under China Resources Group, makes every effort to support Hong Kong's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, resolutely implementing the spirit of General Secretary Jin Ping's important instructions. On February 25, CR Power donated 1,000 COVID-19 rapid test kits to The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "KMB") for daily monitoring of employees such as drivers who served in the front line during the epidemic, and more than 6,800 alcohol-based hand rubs, which were distributed to the public by KMB.

According to the statistics of the Hong Kong Transport Department, KMB provides travel services to millions of Hong Kong citizens every day. Moreover, according to statistics, during the epidemic, a large number of elderly people and people who can't work at home choose to travel by bus every day, and the probability of these groups being exposed to space at risk of infection will also increase. Therefore, it is of vital importance to protect the safety and health of these groups during travel.

Due to the large market demand, it is difficult to purchase a large number of rapid test kits in the Hong Kong market. However, CR Power successfully purchased 1,000 rapid test kits by overcoming difficulties and actively coordinating resources. The supplies in support of the fight against COVID-19 donated by CR Power, such as rapid test kits and alcohol-based hand rubs, can contribute to the transportation guarantee of KMB during the epidemic, and also continuously convey love to the people through KMB.

At the same time, as a responsible employer enterprise, to ensure sufficient and practical material support for employees, CR Power also distributed supplies to Hong Kong employees at the beginning of the epidemic and issued the Proposal to employees, fulfilling the responsibilities of employers and the commitments of a central SOE with practical actions.

Paying close attention to the COVID-19 pandemic trend, CR Power will take practical actions to fight the epidemic and tide over the difficulties with the people of Hong Kong by meeting the urgent needs of society and providing assistance to groups in need.
