On July 16, CR Power participated in the first-day trading of China's carbon market, and was invited to attend the opening ceremony. Ten enterprises such as CR Power, CNPC, Sinopec and five electric power groups participated in the first-day trading. CR Power was issued with the Certificate of First-Batch Trading Enterprises for its trading of a 250,000-ton quota of carbon dioxide emissions. On July 21, CR Power sold 100,000 tons of carbon quota for China's carbon market to Sinopec, completing the first block trade in China's carbon market.
