On June 18, Wang Chuandong - Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group and Chairman of the Board of CR Power, on behalf of China Resources Group, attended a symposium in Beijing on central enterprises helping rural revitalization and high-quality development of Gansu Province. Tang Yong, President of CR Power, attended the symposium and signed an energy investment and development agreement with relevant units of Gansu Province on behalf of CR Power, with a total installed capacity of 2.56 million kilowatts.

This symposium was hosted by the Gansu Provincial Committee and Government under the guidance of the SASAC. Hao Peng - Secretary and Director of the SASAC Party Committee, and Yin Hong - Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Gansu Provincial People's Congress, attended the symposium and delivered a speech respectively. Ren Zhenhe, Deputy Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Gansu Provincial Governor presided over the symposium. At the symposium, 23 central enterprises signed 44 cooperation projects with Gansu Province, with a total investment of RMB 256.4 billion.

CR Power Signed the cooperation agreements of "Gansu Province Electric Investment Changle Power Plant Equity Cooperation Project" and "Ecological Photovoltaics + Desertification Control Base Project in Liangzhou District, Wuwei City" respectively with Gansu Province Electric Investment and Gansu Construction Investment. The two signed projects, with a total equity installed capacity of 2.56 million kilowatts, would lay a solid foundation for the company's development in Gansu during the “Fourteenth Five-Year Plan” period. Gansu Province Electric Investment Changle Power Plant plans to build 4×1GW coal-fired power units. At present, 1# and 2# power units have been put into operation. CR Power, as the new shareholder, will accelerate the project to reach design capacity and improve efficiency. The Ecological Photovoltaics + Desertification Control Base Project in Liangzhou District covers a total area of about 50,000 mu, will actively explore the industrial desertification control mode in desert areas that inte
grates photovoltaic power generation, ecological management and poverty relief and development.

During the symposium, President Tang Yong visited Wu Yangdong, Secretary of Jiuquan Municipal Party Committee, and met with Su Yuehua, Chairman of Gansu Construction Investment (Holdings) Group Co., Ltd., and Pu Peiwen, Chairman of Gansu Province Electric Investment Group Corporation. They had in-depth and extensive exchanges on strengthening cooperation, boosting the development of new energy and promoting the economic and social development of Gansu Province.
