On May 24, Wang Xiangming, Chairman of China Resources Group, met with Wang Qiushi - the visiting Jiamusi Municipal Party Secretary - in Shenzhen. They held friendly talks on strengthening cooperation in related fields and reached broad consensus. They also witnessed the signing of strategic cooperation agreement between Jiamusi Municipal People's Government and China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd.
During the talks, Chairman Wang Xiangming welcomed Secretary Wang Qiushi and his entourage to visit, and indicated China Resources Group and Heilongjiang Province have a long history of cooperation in a wide range of fields and have a good relationship. Since the strategic cooperation symposium between Heilongjiang Province People's Government and China Resources Group was held in Shenzhen on May 9, the work teams of Jiamusi City and China Resources Group have acted quickly and actively to coordinate and promote the cooperation. He thanked the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government for their concern and support for the business development of China Resources. He hoped that both sides would play their respective advantages, jointly seize the new round of development opportunities, fully implement the goals to “peak carbon dioxide emissions and achieve carbon neutrality”, enhance practical coordination, speed up the implementation of projects, actively explore collaboration in multiple
fields, fulfill social responsibilities, advance ecological development, and take concrete actions to contribute to the all-round revitalization of northeast China.
Secretary Wang Qiushi introduced the economic and social development and future planning of Jiamusi. He said that Jiamusi is fully implementing the important directive spirit of the General Secretary's two visits to Jiamusi and the strategic positioning of the "five security" given to Heilongjiang Province by the central government, and making every effort to promote the construction of the central cities in eastern Heilongjiang, with huge development potential. He hoped that both sides would strengthen cooperation in clean energy, ecological agriculture and other fields, build Jiamusi into a platform and base for the coordinated development of multiple business forms of China Resources, and make it one of the important regions for comprehensive strategic cooperation between China Resources Group and Heilongjiang Province. The Jiamusi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government would provide quality services for the investment cooperation of various businesses of China Resources.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Wang Chuandong - Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group and Chairman of the Board of CR Power, Tang Yong - President of China Resources Power, and Wang Qiushi - Jiamusi Municipal Party Secretary, had an in-depth exchange and reached broad consensus on the development planning of China Resources Power in Jiamusi City during the “Fourteenth Five-Year Plan” period, as well as issues such as strengthening bilateral cooperation in related fields.
After the signing ceremony, Wang Qiushi - Jiamusi Municipal Party Secretary - and his entourage, accompanied by Li Xiangyang - head of strategic investment of CR Power - and other personnel, visited headquarters of CR Ng Fung and CR Sanjiu, and had in-depth exchange on related business cooperation, laying a solid foundation for the coordinated development of various business forms of China Resources in Jiamusi City.
Since the strategic cooperation symposium between Heilongjiang Province People's Government and China Resources Group was held in Shenzhen on May 9, 2021, Jiamusi City and CR Power have acted quickly and actively to coordinate and promote the cooperation and finally reached a strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, during the “Fourteenth Five-Year Plan” period, CR Power will rely on the industrial diversification of China Resources Group and the advantages of the upstream and downstream industry chains of CR Northeast Revitalization New Energy Industry Alliance, to fully implement the goals to “peak carbon dioxide emissions and achieve carbon neutrality”, seize the development opportunities for clean energy, and actively promote the construction of a clean energy base of ten million-kilowatt level in Jiamusi. At the same time, China Resources Power will utilize internal and external collaboration, introduce external advantages and connect internal advantages, take the development and cons
truction of clean energy as the driving force, combine the resource advantages of Jiamusi to build China Resources Green Food Industrial Park, to promote the development of regional Chinese herbal medicine industry, and drive local economic revitalization with industrial agglomeration.
