On November 20th, Wang Chuandong, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Resources Power, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Resources Gas, met with Li Hongqing, Municipal Party Secretary of Hezhou City, and his party in Shenzhen. Chairman Wang Chuandong welcomed the visit of Secretary Li Hongqing and his party, expressed his gratitude to Hezhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their long-term care and support for China Resources, and briefly introduced the development history and main business of the Group. He said that China Resources Group would give full play to the advantages of industrial diversification, actively participate in the construction of Hezhou City during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and add brightness to the high-quality development of the regional economy. He hoped that the two sides could maintain good cooperative relations, help existing enterprises become stronger and expand cooperation areas, thus achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

Secretary Li Hongqing said that as China Resources Group’s businesses in power, cement, gas, pharmaceutical, beer and others have successively entered Hezhou in recent years, the city has achieved leapfrog development with the growth rates of multiple economic indicators taking the lead in Guangxi. Especially, the establishment of an “incremental power distribution network + circular economy” system led by power plants has made the resource utilization of industrial solid waste possible, shaped a “cornucopia” for undertaking industrial transfer from the Greater Bay Area, and helped Hezhou reach a high speed in the “integration with the east”. He hoped that the two sides could further strengthen industrial cooperation during the 14th Five-Year Plan period to achieve mutual promotion and common development.
