On June 18, China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CR Power") held the enlarged meeting of the EHS committee in the first half of 2020 and the three-year special rectification for work safety by means of video conference. A total of 1203 people, including members of the EHS committee, persons in charge of related departments of the headquarters, regions, branches in the coal industry, directly affiliated units and project companies, and related management personnel of the EHS security system and supervision system at all levels, participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, the person in charge of the EHS Department reported the EHS work of CR Power since 2019, and North, Northeast, and South China regions respectively reflected on the EHS work in 2019. Jiang Lihui, vice president of CR Power and executive director of the EHS committee, made specific arrangements for the three-year special rectification for work safety, and required all units to decompose and refine the rectification work in accordance with the requirements of the plan and in combination with their respective annual key work, and establish an effective mechanism, so as to ensure the investment of human, financial, material and other resources required for the special rectification, and the effective implementation of the three-year special rectification for work safety.
Tang Yong, president of CR Power and director of the EHS committee, emphasized in his speech that all units should strengthen the construction of EHS systems and mechanisms, attach importance to the implementation of safety responsibilities, enhance safety awareness and skills, and use practical and effective methods to carry out safety, health and eco-environmental work, to prevent all kinds of accidents. Regarding the EHS work in the second half of 2020, President Tang Yong required that units at all levels must: firstly, adhere to the problem orientation and continuously consolidate the management foundation; secondly, highlight the focus of work, take multiple measures, and comprehensively improve the safety management level; thirdly, effectively implement the three-year special rectification for work safety; fourthly, continue to normalize the epidemic prevention and control work, and make every effort to ensure the continued stability and improvement of the EHS situation.
