The Puqi Power Plant has an installed capacity of 2,660 MW. The phase-I units are an important power support point in Xianning, Hubei. The phase-II units undertake power supply in the surrounding area of Xianning and the Optics Valley and Jiangxia areas in Wuhan and supply power to Jiangxi through the circle network in the east of Hubei. At present, the coal inventory of the power plant can be used for 56 days to ensure continuous power supply.

Earlier, the anti-epidemic and production assurance work of CR Power's Xuzhou South Thermal Power Plant in Jiangsu Region also appeared in CCTV News. The South Thermal Power Plant firmly establishes the overall awareness "Where there is an epidemic, there is an order. To prevent and control epidemic is to take responsibility." It strictly enforces the work responsibility system and formulates a number of measures to effectively and carefully perform the epidemic prevention and control work. Since January 22, the South Thermal Power Plant has incorporated the epidemic report into its on-duty responsibility system, under which the prevention and control work, such as personnel' entry and exit restrictions, vehicle management and control, and temperature measurement and registration for employees entering and exiting the plant, should be carried out, so that the warning of epidemic prevention during travel can be communicated to each employee.
