On February 17, a tanker carrying 15,000 kilograms of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant (i.e. 84 disinfectant) exited from CR Power Haifeng Power Plant and headed for Ruiqi Technology Industrial Park in Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. This batch of disinfectant will be used for centralized disinfection within the park.
Recently, with the resumption of work and production in various industries after the holiday, the flow of people returning to Guangdong has increased significantly. In the face of the shortage of disinfectant in Shenzhen and Shantou, CR Power Haifeng Power Plant took the initiative to produce sodium hypochlorite disinfectant by modifying two sets of electrolyzed seawater chlorination devices. Now nearly 1,000 tons of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant can be produced every day, and can be directly used for environmental epidemic protection and disinfection.CR Haifeng Power Plant actively contacted the local government and the epidemic prevention and control department, stating that it could provide sodium hypochlorite disinfectant to the society free of charge according to the needs for epidemic prevention, and at the same time publicly released such message to all walks of life through various channels such as a WeChat account. As of February 18, the Haifeng Power Plant has supplied a total of 71.5 tons of disinfectant to nearly 50 entities, covering government departments, educational institutions, and construction enterprises, effectively assuring the local epidemic protection and control and work and production resumption, and obtaining praise from all walks of life.
In Wenzhou, Zhejiang, one of the cities with the most severe epidemic situation outside Hubei, the epidemic prevention and control situation is extremely serious. CR Power Wenzhou Power Plant took the initiative to transform the pipelines exporting sodium hypochlorite solution in the plant, and produced sodium hypochlorite disinfectant by using the surplus capacity of the plant's electrolyzed seawater chlorination devices, to facilitate the local epidemic protection and control. Since February, the Wenzhou Power Plant has donated 110 tons of self-made sodium hypochlorite disinfectant to the local community, effectively solving the urgent need for local epidemic prevention and control.
On the shores of Tangshan and Bohai in Hebei, the Caofeidian Power Plant of CR Power, which has a maximum daily output of 6,000 tons of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant, is also endeavoring to contribute to the local epidemic prevention and control. So far, the plant has separately provided the governments of Baodi District and Caofeidian District in Tianjin and 12 enterprises and public institutions nearby with 15.4 tons of disinfectant free of charge, and provided safety instructions for self-made sodium hypochlorite disinfectant to ensure the best use results.
At the same time, CR Power's inland power plants have also tried their best to help prevent and control the epidemic in the areas where they are located based on epidemic prevention and disinfection. In Fuyang, Anhui, the CR Fuyang Power Plant has prepared 2.445 tons of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant and donated 1.3 tons to the local government. In Hezhou, Guangxi, the CR Hezhou Power Plant has prepared 18.6 tons of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant by using industrial raw solution and supplied it to 32 administrative institutions, 20 enterprises and related entities in the Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County, Hezhou, Guangxi for free.
As of February 18, enterprises under CR Power have donated nearly 220 tons of self-made disinfectant, equivalent to over RMB1.1 million in market value, to the society. At the most critical stage of the nation's united efforts to fight the epidemic, CR Power will continue to donate sodium hypochlorite disinfectant to the society to facilitate the epidemic prevention and control and provide an escort for enterprises' work and production resumption while maintaining power and heat supply by ensuring work safety with the responsibility of central enterprises and full fighting will.
The free production and supply of disinfectant facilitates epidemic prevention and work resumption of all walks of life and is an effective measure for CR Power to respond to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council to resolutely win the fight for epidemic prevention and control. Facing the sudden epidemic situation, on one hand, CR Power grasped work safety, guaranteed power and heat supply, and made all-out efforts to guard the "lifelines" of different cities; on the other hand, it took the initiative to undertake the social responsibility, produced disinfectant by taking advantage of its own industrial resources, and donated it to the local government and all walks of life for free, to alleviate the difficulties of different governments in epidemic protection and disinfection. At the same time, CR Power also did its best to provide hospitals, local governments, communities, public welfare organizations and other entities with masks, thermometers and other protective materials, striving to make central enterprises' contributions to winning the fight for the nationwide epidemic prevention and control and the protection of the people's life safety and health.
