On December 17th, CR Power’s Cangnan 1# Offshore Wind Power Project got the approval and became the company’s first approved offshore wind power project.

This project, located in the eastern sea of Cangnan County, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, has a total installed capacity of 400MW, with a supporting 220KV offshore booster station and an onshore centralized control center constructed. After the completion of the project, the annual on-grid energy is about 1.2 billion kilowatt hours, which can save about 390,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide emission every year, bringing obvious comprehensive economic and environmental benefits.

The approval of the project marks a breakthrough in CR Power’s clean energy business and opens a new chapter in the development of offshore wind power.
