On December 12th, with the grid connection of #15, #16 and #18 wind turbines in Hubei Suixian Longquan Wind Farm, CR Power’s wind power grid-connected capacity exceeded 9 million kilowatts. Jie Jianping, Deputy Director of Hubei Energy Bureau, Yang Tianbing, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Suizhou People’s Congress, and Hu Min, President of CR Power, attended the grid connection ceremony.
President Hu Min expressed his thanks to governments at all levels, co-construction units and all wind power builders of the company. He pointed out that Longquan Wind Farm, CR Power’s 14th wind farm in Suizhou, was an important milestone for CR Power’s wind power grid-connected capacity exceeding 9 million kilowatts, as well as the result of joint efforts from CR Power, Hubei Provincial Government and Suizhou Municipal Government. In the future, CR Power will continue to work with all stakeholders to implement green development concept, seek urban economic construction together, and make new and greater contributions to local economic and social development.
Yang Tianbing, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Suizhou Municipal People’s Congress, said that Suizhou was the largest new energy city in Hubei, and CR Power’s wind power grid-connected capacity in Suizhou exceeded 550,000 kilowatts, playing a leading role in the new energy development of Suizhou. Suizhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will continue to focus on the new energy industry, better escort the construction of related projects, and promote leapfrog development and historic breakthrough of the new energy industry.
Jie Jianping, Deputy Director of Hubei Energy Bureau, pointed out that Hubei had inherently insufficient fossil energy but large potential in new energy development. Accelerating the development and utilization of new energy is the only way to ensure energy supply security, respond to environmental problems properly, and achieve sustainable development. Since entering the wind power market of Hubei in 2012, CR Power has developed rapidly and surpassed the formers with a mature management system and strong comprehensive strength, with wind power installed capacity and operating indicators ranking among the top in the province for consecutive years. He hoped that CR Power would continuously provide green power for Hubei’s economic and social development, and wished CR Power stable and everlasting development in the future.
During the ceremony, the leaders and guests “lifted” the wind turbine model onto the base and the model started to rotate, lighting up the shining words “CR Power Wind Power Grid- connected Capacity 9 Million Kilowatt”. Jie Jianping, Yang Tianbing, President Hu Min, and Vice President Zhao Houchang unveiled the stone, symbolizing the successful completion of the grid connection ceremony.
After the event, President Hu Min and his delegation went to the production area and central control room of the booster station at Longquan Wind Farm for investigation, recognized the design optimization and production preparation progress of the booster station, and expressed regards to the front-line employees and gratitude for their hard work.
Relevant leaders of Hubei Energy Bureau and Suixian County Party Committee, responsible persons and representatives from co-construction units, including Vision Energy, China First Metallurgical Group, China MCC17 Group, Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research, and leaders of relevant units of CR Power participated in this event.
