President Hu Min Met with Equinor Delegation from Norway

On November 26th, Hu Min, President of CR Power, met with Jens ?kland, Senior Vice President of New Energy Development Department of Equinor from Norway, and his delegation at China Resources Building. The two sides discussed on business development and collaboration in offshore wind power.


President Hu Min welcomed Jens ?kland and his delegation, and briefly introduced the operation and development condition of CR Power. He pointed out that the cooperation between CR Power and Equinor on the offshore wind power project located in Dudgeon, UK was a win-win model, and hoped that the two parties would further strengthen exchanges, deepen cooperation, and work together to promote the offshore wind power business in China and international markets. Relevant person in charge of Strategic Development Department of the Holding Company introduced CR Power’s strategic direction of clean energy development and the development plan of offshore wind power. The two sides also conducted in-depth communication on matters about continuously seeking cooperation in the future.


Senior Vice President Jens ?kland highly appreciated the cooperation mode between the two sides and praised CR Power for the achievements made in operation management and new energy development. He pointed out that the cooperation between the two parties on the offshore wind power project in the UK was very successful, and the Phase II of Dudgeon Project was progressing smoothly. Equinor regards CR Power as an important partner and hopes to join CR Power in China’s offshore wind power investment and operation, and will actively seek cooperation opportunities to participate in international markets such as Europe, thus to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.


Equinor, the former Norwegian national oil company Statoil, is the world’s largest offshore oil and gas company and the highest-paid company in Northern Europe. Renamed Equinor in 2018, it aims to highlight the determination to transform into a renewable energy company.
