On May 8, CR Power released the 2019 Sustainable Development Report, its 10th annual sustainable development report. It systematically disclosed the practice and performance of CR Power in corporate governance and fulfilling its economic, social and environmental responsibilities in the past year, and was comprehensively rated as "Five-Star Excellence (Model)" by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. So far, the company has earned this title for five consecutive years.

CR Power's 2019 Sustainable Development Report follows the principles of importance, quantification, balance and consistency of the Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guidelines (HK-ESG) of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and discloses or explains various indicators as required. While continuing to respond to the Global Reporting Initiative's Guide to Compilation of Sustainable Development Reports (GRI Standards) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it also integrates the focus of the international capital market on the Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) as a response to the issues of climate change, water resources and human capital development.

With the theme of "Green Energy, Beautify Your Life", the report covers important issues such as environmental protection, safe production, stable operation, employee development and community harmony, and systematically discloses 90.5% of the core indicators of the industry, which fully responds to the concerns of stakeholders. In order to enhance the transparency of the report, for the fourth consecutive year, the company invited an independent third party, Price Waterhouse Coopers, to audit and verify the 13 key indicators such as emissions and density of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide mentioned in the report.
