On April 8, Tang Yong, President of China Resources (Holdings) Co., Ltd., Lin Guan, Mayor of Hezhou City, and Wang Bing, Chairman of Beijing New Building Materials, attended the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreements between CR Hezhou Power Plant, Fuchuan County in Hezhou City, and Beijing New Building Materials (BNBM) through video.
CR Hezhou Power Plant and Fuchuan County signed cooperation agreements with Beijing New Building Materials respectively. According to the agreements, the three sides will build a green building materials production R&D base in Hezhou China Resources Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Zone to consume desulfurized gypsum, water, gas, electricity and other products provided by CR Hezhou Power Plant, thus further developing and expanding the circular economy industry chain.
On behalf of Hezhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Mayor Lin Guan expressed his congratulations to the three sides on successfully signing the agreement. He noted, the signing of the agreement is a practical exploration of the complementary advantages of comprehensive energy in Hezhou China Resources Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Zone, which will effectively help Hezhou get rid of poverty and create a "new speed" in the integration-with-the-east strategy. Chairman of BNBM Wang Bing said, the successful signing of the agreement will serve as a new opportunity for the high-quality development of BNBM who will continue to do a good job in project construction and operation together with Hezhou City and CR Hezhou Power Plant to create a green development paragon.
President Tang Yong said, the signing of the agreement is to further implement and promote the spirit of the talks between Chairman of China Resources Group Fu Yuning and Party Secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Lu Xinshe, and of the framework agreement on investment cooperation between China Resources Group and Hezhou City, aiming at jointly building a green recycling and sustainable industrial cluster. While consciously serving the overall situation of the Party and the country, relying on the first batch of incremental power distribution network pilots, serving local investment promotion, and realizing highly coordinated utilization of solid waste industry, CR Power, as a responsible Central enterprise, will actively make greater contributions to the urban construction of Hezhou City and to the improvement of local people's quality of life.
The signing ceremony was attended by Vice Mayor of Hezhou City Liu Hongjun, Secretary General Kuang Yonghong, Vice President of CR Power Hou Yongjie, General Manager of CR Power South China Region Ma Li, as well as relevant leaders of Fuchuan County, the Administration Committee of Hezhou Huarun Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Zone, and BNBM.
