On December 28, China Resources Group and Liangshan Prefectural People's Government held a Video Symposium and Signing Ceremony of Strategic Cooperation Agreement. Ashi Labi, Governor and Deputy Secretary of Liangshan Prefecture Party Committee, and Wang Chuandong, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group were present at the signing ceremony.
Wang Chuandong thanked Liangshan Prefecture Party Committee and People's Government for their long-term care and support for the business development of China Resources Group in Liangshan. He said that Liangshan Prefecture, as the core area of Panxi National Strategic Resources Innovation and Development Pilot Zone, boasted prominent advantages in clean energy, green agriculture and other resources, with broad development prospects and great development potential. China Resources Group would give full play to its industrial cluster and brand advantages, focus on the cooperation opportunity of "the whole industrial chain of TCM pharmaceutical and medicinal herbs cultivation + green energy", and invest about RMB 30 billion in six areas for cooperation, thus helping Liangshan to write a new chapter in the comprehensive construction of socialist modern Liangshan.
Ashi Labi said that in the context of the orderly advancing of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, Liangshan Prefecture was planning to develop a clean energy industry of 100 billion level and accelerate the construction of an important national clean energy base. He believed that the two sides would promote the "TCM industry + clean energy" to bear fruits as soon as possible on the basis of the existing good cooperation. China Resources Group was expected to further leverage its advantages in capital, talent, technology and resources to help the two sides carry out more practical cooperation in terms of infrastructure, public services, improvement of people's livelihood, agriculture, culture and tourism, and create a new example of mutual benefit and win-win results.
As agreed, China Resources Pharmaceutical Group Limited (CR Pharma) will make Liangshan biomedicine industry bigger and stronger into a brand of "Liangshan medicine" by the portfolio of the construction of a pharmaceutical plant and the cultivation base of medicinal herbs. Liangshan Prefecture will support CR Power to participate in the development of new energy resources in Liangshan in accordance with market principles, and strive to develop a scale of 3 million kW. During the period, CR Power, CR Sanjiu and Xichang Municipal People's Government of Liangshan Prefecture signed the Investment Cooperation Agreement on the Whole Industrial Chain of Traditional Chinese Medicine and New Energy Power Generation Project.
