From August 27th to 30th, China Electricity Council (referred to as CEC) held the 2019 Power Industry Wind Power Operation Indicators Release Conference in Harbin, Heilongjiang. The conference released key indicators for domestic wind power production and operation in 2018, and announced the results of wind farm production and operation competition. China Resources Power, with a total of 24 wind farms winning awards, ranked first in the industry in terms of award-winning proportion.

Among them, seven wind farms were rated 5A, including Kenli Wind Farm and Zijing Wind Farm in East China Region, Ruifeng Wind Farm in North Region, Yimachi Wind Farm in Northeast Region, Xiangtian Wind Farm and Tianshuibao Wind Farm in Central-West China Region, Guanshan Wind Farm in South China Region. Seven wind farms including Pingdu and Dongxing in East China Region were awarded 4A, and 10 wind farms including Yingfengling in North Region won 3A. CR Power accounted for 39.34% (average 18.11%, second place 26.87%) of the total award winners. At the conference, Central-West Region of CR Power shared their experience with the theme of “Building Story of CR Tianshuibao Wind Farm Benchmarking Factory” and achieved wide appraisal from peers.

A total of 1888 wind farms from 42 power generation groups across the country participated in this competition, with the grid-connected capacity accounting for 89.63% of the national total capacity. According to relevant regulations of CEC, the competition was conducted by caliber and by region. Through comprehensive evaluation of indicators in power consumption, energy consumption and equipment operation level of each project, as well as publicity and final review, 342 winners were finally determined.
