General Manager Wang Xiangming Promotes Safe Production Month Activities in Guangzhou Project

On June 17, General Manager Wang Xiangming of China Resources Group went to Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. (referred to as Guangzhou Project) for promoting safe production month activities, and conducted investigation on safety, health and environment management (EHS), production and operation, innovation and transformation, etc. Zhang Junzheng, Director of Environment, Health and Safety Department of CR Group, and Hu Min, President of CR Power, accompanied during the investigation.

 

General Manager Wang Xiangming and his party first investigated the ultra-low emission equipment and facilities, urban solid waste disposal center, safety standardization operation platform, intelligent centralized control room, energy storage and frequency modulation system, and ecological attractions like Happy Farm of Guangzhou Project, and learned about the EHS work in South China Region, the plan and progress of activities in Safe Production Month, as well as the EHS management, production and operation, business development, transformation and innovation of Guangzhou Project.

 

At the meeting, General Manager Wang Xiangming listened to CR Power’s report on EHS work and the production and operation situation of Guangzhou Project, affirmed their active deployment and implementation of the Safe Production Month activities, and raised expectations and requirements in safety production and operation management for CR Power. First, they should attach great importance to EHS management, further strengthen the implementation of corporate safety responsibility, and continuously maintain good safety production situation. Second, they should firmly establish the “red line awareness” and “bottom line thinking” of safe production, adhere to the principle of “safety first”, and consolidate the foundation of safe production management. Third, they should accurately manage and prevent key risks, and focus on the management of key hazard sources for enterprise safety. Fourth, they should follow the Group’s deployment, and carry out activities of “Safe Production Month” and “Safe Production for Miles” with the theme of “preventing risks, removing hidden dangers, and eliminating accidents” to promote the accomplishment of various safety deployments of the Group at all levels. In addition, Mr. Wang gave recognition to the practice and effectiveness of CR Power’s multi-pronged measures in developing innovative transformation business, and emphasized the need to continuously strengthen communication with relevant government departments and strive for policy support to help enterprises achieve sustainable development.
