On December 17, Xie Qiuye, Dean of China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute (“CEPPEI”), visited the headquarters of China Resources Power in Shenzhen. He and his team were received by Ge Changxin, Vice Chairman of Board of Directors and Senior Vice President of China Resources Power. They communicated on the strategic planning, policy research, technological application, emerging business and international market and other cooperation fields, and signed the strategic cooperative framework agreement.

Vice Chairman Ge Changxin welcomed Xie Qiuye, introduced to them the basic information and future development of China Resources and China Resources Power, and expressed the hope that the two sides would, by making use of the opportunity of signing strategic cooperation framework agreement, give play to their respective advantages, expand the cooperation fields, innovate cooperation modes and realize the mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Dean Xie Qiuye explained the business segments, development history and other information of CEPPEI. As he said, throughout those years, cooperation between China Resources Power and CEPPEI in planning and research, project design and review, electric power system reformation, etc., had been very fruitful, and there was expectation for strengthening cooperation in the advantageous fields, to consolidate the cooperative and mutual-trusting relationship formed based on the long-term cooperation, to lift the competitiveness of both sides.

CEPPEI is a national senior consultation institute in the energy and electricity field, having accumulated rich experience in serving the government agencies, financial institutions, and energy and relevant enterprises. It is mainly engaged in making development strategies, development plans, industrial policies, system reforms and new-technology research, industrial confidence building and scientific research standard setting for the energy and power industry.
