Located in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Yangzhou No.2 Power Plant consists of two 600MW coal-fired generation units which commenced commercial operation in November 1998 and June 1999. CR power holds 45% interest in the Power Plant. Electricity generated is sold to the Jiangsu power grid under the Eastern China Power Grid. The coal supply is mainly sourced from Inner Mongolia and Shanxi Province.
