Yunpeng Power Plant, the first hydro power plant of CR Power, is located in Honghe City, Yunnan province. CR Power owns a 70% equity interest in the Power Plant. Consisting of three 70MW hydro generation units, the Power Plant commenced construction in August 2003. The first unit commenced commercial operation on 5 May 2007. Electricity generated is sold to Yunnan provincial power grid under Southern China Power Grid Company.
