Located in Hengshui city of Hebei province, Hengshui Hengxing ( "Hengfeng Phase II" ) is an extension of Hengfeng Phase I. It consists of two 300MW coal-fired heat and power co-generation units. Construction commenced in April 2003. Its first and second generation unit commenced commercial operation in November 2004 and  March 2005, respectively. CR Power owns 25% equity interest in Hengfeng Phase II. Electricity generated is sold to Hebei southern provincial power grid under North China Power Grid. Coal resources are mainly from Shanxi Province.
