Shouyangshan Power Plant is located in Yanshi City, Hennan Province. CR Power owns an 85% interest in the project. The Power Plant consists of two 600MW Super-critical coal-fired generating units with desulphurisation facilities. The two units commenced operation in May and October 2006, respectively. Electricity generated is sold to the Henan provincial power grid under the Central China Power Grid. The Power Plant's coal demand can be satisfied by coal mines within Henan Province where there are abundant reserves and can also be sourced from other coal producing provinces in China as it has convenient access to transportation facilities.
