| Ms. Chen Xiao Ying was appointed as a non-executive director of the Company in August 2007. She is the executive vice chairman of CITIC 21CN Company Limited and the chairman of the Pollon Group. Ms. Chen has been developing and managing the Pollon Group¨s business, including investments in power plants, telecommunication and properties in the PRC since its establishment in 1989. Ms. Chen has been a member of the Chinese National People¨s Political Consultative Committee since 1998 and a permanent honorary president of Friends of Hong Kong Association Limited since 1999. |
