Mr. Ma Chiu-Cheung, Andrew, was appointed as an independent non-executive director and the Chairman of the audit committee in December 2006. Mr. is a Certified Public Accountant (Practising) in Hong Kong, and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in England & Wales, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Institute of Directors. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. Mr. Ma is a director of Andrew Ma DFK (CPA) Limited and Mayee Management Limited and an independent non-executive director of The People’s Insurance Company of China (Hong Kong) Limited. He is also an independent non-executive director of Tanrich Financial Holdings Limited, Asia Financial Holdings Limited, Peaktop International Holdings Limited and C.P. Pokphand Co. Ltd., all of which are companies with shares listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and a non-executive director of Asian Citrus Holdings Limited, a company with shares listed on the AIM board of London Stock Exchange. Mr. Ma was also an independent non-executive director of Migician Industries (Holdings) Limited, a company with shares listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange, during the period from 18 October 2004 to 31 March 2005 and China Mobile Peoples Telephone Company Limited (formerly known as China Resources Peoples Telephone Company Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange but was delisted on 29 March 2006 ) during the period from 9 February to 30 March 2006. Mr. Ma received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the London School of Economic and Political Science, University of London, United Kingdom.
